The Gulf Coast Water Authority (GCWA) maintains several pumping stations, man-made canals, natural waterways, reservoirs, a water treatment plant and pipelines to supply water to customers. As a result, studies are conducted and reports are prepared for major projects related to these facilities.
Additionally, water conservation is becoming increasingly important as Texas is impacted by drought. GCWA is continually looking for ways to improve water availability for our customers.
Other data related to water quality, particularly with respect to drinking water, may be found in this section.
